Why can’t I see a class I registered for on my eLearning home page?

How do I take exams?

Many courses that use eLearning will have quizzes or exams at some point during the term. Some classes have more exams and quizzes than other classes. Are there student fees associated with proctored exams?

Proctored exams on campus are free. ProctorU and testing centers charge both charge fees for proctoring exams.  Whether an online class has a proctored exam(s) or not is up to the discretion of the instructor.

How can I upload an image to my profile?

I need to change my email address, how do I do that?

I’m not getting the emails I want to get from my class, how do I fix that?

Make sure that the email you have on file in eLearning is current. Check to make sure your class email isn’t being blocked or diverted to a different folder (for instance the “Promotions” tab/folder in Gmail). 


Why can I still see a class I dropped on my eLearning home page?

I am a student, can I access my course before the first day of the term?

No, students cannot access the course before the first day of the term, however, while you wait for the first day you’re encouraged to take the Student Orientation that you’ll find on the left side of the eLearning site.


Is an orientation available for new students?

When are my online classes available?

Online classes are available to students on the first day of the term. Students are able to access their courses for 10 business days after the official end of the term.


How do I attach a file directly to a discussion forum?

To attach a file click on “Add”, then “Upload a File” then browse to the file you want to attached and click “Upload” and “Post to forum.”


How will I know my final grade in the class?

Final grades are posted to GGU4YOU by instructors usually 1-2 weeks after the term ends. Students view their grades on GGU4YOU.


How do I hand in an assignment in an online class?

You can turn in your work in the designated Assignments areas of your course. Some instructors refer to the assignments area as the “dropbox.”


I’m getting too much email from my class! Help!

You can often opt to get emails when someone posts in a discussion forum. This is called a subscription. For more on subscriptions see “Student Orientation, Tips and Tutorials” on the left side of your eLearning home page, and then select “Mastering your Class Email/Subscriptions.”
