How do I log in to eLearning?

How do I take exams?

All courses that are entirely online (no in-person class sessions) will have at least one supervised (proctored) exam per term. The supervised exam may be paper-based or Web-based and can be supervised at the GGU San Francisco campus, a Consortium of College Testing Centers exam site, using an independent proctor approved by GGU or with ProctorU (an online proctoring service). Are there student fees associated with proctored exams?

ProctorU and testing centers charge both charge variable fees for proctoring exams. Coming to the campus for a proctored exam is free. If your class is not 100% online, there is not a proctored exam requirement. A ProctorU session costs $33.75 per 3-hour exam and is often preferred by students for its convenience. What are online classes like?

How can I upload an image to my profile?

Why can’t I see a class I registered for on my eLearning home page?

If it’s been more than 36 hours and you still do not see your register course please contact elearninghelp@ggu.edu with your student ID number. Or, if you are taking an in-person class it may be that your instructor opted out of having an online space for the class.


Oops! I made a typo in my discussion forum reply that I want to edit, can I do that?

I am a new student. When do I receive my username and password?

24-36 hours after registering for an eLearning course you’ll receive your official username and password via email. The username and password for GGU4YOU and eLearning are NOT connected. Tip: Many students set their eLearning password to be the same as their GGU4YOU password.


I am a student, can I access my course before the first day of the term?

No, students cannot access the course before the first day of the term, however, while you wait for the first day you’re encouraged to take the Student Orientation that you’ll find on the left side of the eLearning site.


I'm an instructor with questions about proctored testing. Who should I contact?

I have forgotten my username or password. What do I do?

Why can I still see a class I dropped on my eLearning home page?

I’m not getting the emails I want to get from my class, how do I fix that?

Make sure that the email you have on file in eLearning is current. Check to make sure your class email isn’t being blocked or diverted to a different folder (for instance the “Promotions” tab/folder in Gmail).
